How To Store Tea

Because citrus oils are used, we advise you not to store or use plastic utensils with tea. For both regular and decaf, tea should be stored in an airtight container. We suggest freezing a portion of your tea stock in order to preserve the tea and keep it from drying out. Tea has a shelf life of approximately 5 to 6 months, whereas when exposed to heat or air, the shelf life diminishes to 2 to 3 months.
